Cultivation area

The Feldi Vineyard, located on the edge of the alluvial fan in Roveré della Luna, consisting of stony ground with a slight presence of clay and sand.

Yield per hectare

45 hectolitres per hectare.

Vinification

The grape harvest is done strictly by hand; the bunches are then destemmed followed by maceration in French oak truncated conical vats for 6/8 days. The stages of aging and malolactic fermentation on the other hand take place in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Organoleptic properties

Colour

Garnet red.

Bouquet

A bright red colour with good transparency in the glass, the wine presents itself to the nose highlighting notes of small ripe red fruits such as strawberries and cherries which subsequently give way to light spicy hints. In the mouth it is crisp and smooth with very delicate tannins and a pleasant finish.

Taste sensation

An enveloping structure, refined tannins and a finish that faithfully reflects what is perceived first on the nose.
